Empowering the Future: An Interactive Legal Workshop for Law Students at An-Najah University

The Palestinian Maintenance Fund organized an interactive workshop for law students at An-Najah University, held in the Moot Court Room. This workshop is part of a series of awareness sessions aimed at enhancing law students' understanding of the vital role played by the Fund in supporting women, children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities, and facilitating their access to their legal rights.

The workshop began with a review of issues discussed in previous sessions, including the Fund's vision, objectives, eligible beneficiaries, and how to access services. Additionally, the session covered the Fund's various programs, such as legal assistance, poverty reduction and economic empowerment, and protection and integration programs.

Attorney Asmaa Hanbali focused on issues of divorce, separation, and wrongful divorce during the session. The students expressed their appreciation for these sessions, which help increase their awareness of personal status matters.

In conclusion, Dr. Safaa Balawi praised the important role of the Fund in providing a dignified life for women, children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities by ensuring their legal rights. She also expressed her gratitude to the Fund and its staff for their effective efforts in raising students' awareness of personal status issues.
