The financial and administrative reports for 2022–2023, along with the 2024 plan and budget, were approved by the Fund’s Board of Directors.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Supreme Judge of Palestine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Maintenance Fund, instructed the Fund’s administration to develop an emergency plan to ensure the continuity of its work in addressing the catastrophic repercussions faced by Palestinian families as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

This came during the Board meeting held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the office of the Supreme Judge. The meeting discussed the situation in Gaza, which has been subjected to a campaign of genocide by the Israeli occupation forces for more than four months, and the dire humanitarian conditions endured by its residents due to the relentless aggression.

His Eminence stressed the importance of ensuring that the Fund continues to provide its full services to beneficiaries in Gaza and to make every possible effort to prevent any disruption, despite the severe security conditions, the difficulties in communication across the Strip, and the destruction of roads, infrastructure, and the fragmentation of its areas by the occupation.

It is also noted that the Board approved the financial statements for 2022, the administrative and financial reports for 2022–2023, as well as the operational plan and budget for 2024.
