Palestinian Maintenance Fund and Birzeit University Legal Clinic Sign Memorandum of Understanding

On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, the Palestinian Maintenance Fund and the Legal Clinic at the Faculty of Law and Public Administration at Birzeit University signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of legal education and training, in line with the Fund’s vision to develop legal and social knowledge related to maintenance cases and family justice.

The memorandum seeks to enable students to move from theoretical learning to practical application of legal and human rights skills through activating volunteer work and implementing joint awareness and training activities that contribute to enhancing students’ awareness of the rule of law, women’s rights, and their protection.

This step comes as part of the Fund’s direction to expand its partnerships with national academic institutions, thereby strengthening its role in spreading legal culture and reinforcing the principles of social and family justice within Palestinian society.
